The winning project of the competition advertised by the town Council of Vigevano

Originally Saint Ambrogio Square was an eighteenth century small square and a urban gate along the Sforza canal. The square, freed from vehicular traffic, is intended both for urban pedestrians and for occasional merchant activity, so restoring the relations with the contiguous bank areas of the canal. A small wooden pavilion – info point and “house of water” - is set near the entry of the square.
